The Complete Colour Flow Range

Colour Flow is one wireless system with three parts. A control you hold or mount on the wall, a receiver wired between the driver and the strip, and optionally a gateway that puts the whole thing on Wi-Fi for app and voice. Everything talks 2.4GHz RF at up to thirty metres, so a remote bought today pairs with a receiver bought two years ago.

Start with what the strip is. Single colour needs one channel and only ever changes brightness. CCT runs two channels so you can move between warm and cool white. RGBW adds a dedicated white alongside the colour chips, and RGB+CCT gives you the full range on one run. Pixel SPI is different again, each LED is addressed individually for chases and gradients, and needs an SPI controller rather than a standard receiver. For 240V lamps a triac dimmer replaces the receiver entirely.

Zones matter as much as colour mode. A one zone control drives everything paired to it together. Four zone controls split a floor into rooms or a room into layers, and the eight zone RGB+CCT remote covers larger installations. Wall panels sit in a standard back box or stick on magnetically with batteries, so you can add control without chasing walls.

For app and voice the Wi-Fi receivers connect on their own, while RF only receivers need the 2.4GHz gateway to bridge them onto the network. Zigbee 3.0 and Matter options are available where the system joins an existing smart home rather than running alongside it, and the ArcLED One, Pro and Max touch panels carry a Zigbee gateway inside them.
