We are ArcLED, an LED lighting company based in Plymouth on the South West coast of the UK, and proudly the sister company of G&R Electrical Wholesale. With over 60 years’ experience in the lighting business, the creation of bespoke, high-quality LED products comes as second nature to us.

We specialise in LED supplies and equipment, and we manufacture our own LED light strips and accessories. There are two things we offer: the products and components to create your own LED lighting kit, and a bespoke cut-to-length service so your lighting arrives ready to fit. Our products work across all kinds of projects — from large-scale architectural lighting to kitchens, restaurants, nightclubs, living rooms and offices. And we’ll share all of our knowledge with you, so you know the difference between colour temperature tape and RGBW strips, or your DMX and DALI dimmers, in no time.

How we got here

The Story So Far

1960sThe wholesale yearsG&R Electrical Wholesale opens its doors in Cornwall, supplying the region’s electricians. Six decades of trade knowledge start here.
2018ArcLED is bornFrustrated by the quality of LED strip on the market, the family starts ArcLED in Plymouth to design and supply its own.
2019Bespoke solderingOur bespoke service begins: strip cut to length with connectors and cables soldered on, so there is less to do on site.
2025tru-colour CRI 98+Launch of the tru-colour range, with the most accurate colour rendering we make. Strip and GU10 modules for kitchens, galleries and retail.
2025Tate ModernArcLED lighting is specified and supplied for the Hyundai Commission in the Turbine Hall — Máret Ánne Sara’s Goavve-Geabbil.
2026NanoBrite and DecorexThe NanoBrite 13.5mm magnetic track system launches, and ArcLED exhibits at Decorex, London.
