How to get LED strip lights to stick?

To ensure your adhesive LED strip lights stick, make sure to prepare your surface:

• Gently clean the surface with a damp cloth and gentle cleaning solution – do a test patch in a hidden area to make sure it doesn’t remove anything such as paint. 
• Wait for the area to thoroughly dry before installing your LED lights. 
• Unroll your strip lights and prepare them to the correct length before installing them if they aren’t pre-cut. Make sure to only cut at the designated points.
• Peel the backing off the first 30cm of LED strip and line it up on the surface.
• Gently press along the strip to remove any air bubbles and ensure it is properly stuck. 
• Continue peeling off sections of the tape and sticking them to the surface. It can help to have one person to hold the reel and another to apply the tap to the surface.
