Strip Lighting

To ensure your adhesive LED strip lights stick properly, start by gently cleaning the surface with a damp cloth — do a test patch in a hidden area first. Wait for the area to thoroughly dry before installing. Unroll your strip lights and prepare them to the correct length, cutting only at the designated cut points.

Peel the backing off the first 30cm of LED strip, line it up on the surface and gently press along the strip to remove any air bubbles. Continue peeling and applying in sections — it helps to have one person hold the reel and another apply the tape to the surface.

For a professional finish that keeps lights in place and prevents overheating, we always recommend using mounting clips and aluminium profiles. Profiles also give a clean, architectural look and protect the strip from damage.
