Future-proof your LED lighting setup with Digital Pixel LED strip lighting. This new technology is thought to be the next step in LED lighting due to its controllable settings and colour variants. Programme your digital pixel LED strip with your chosen colour and set a sequence for still, flashing, gradual fades and more. Alternatively, opt for a cool or warm white to complete your LED lighting set up.

What is digital pixel tape?

Digital pixel tape describes programmable LED lighting that usually has either RGB or RGBW options. You can control the colours and often the sequence. This slim tape allows you more control over individual lights than classic LED strip lighting. This addressable LED strip lighting allows you to create intricate light displays tailored to your design or to simply regularly change the effects to instantly refresh your decor.

The digital pixel LED strip lights are popular for creating promotional signage due to the eye catching nature of the programmes you can choose. The colour choices include white, multicoloured, single colour, or a sequence of colour.

Alternatively, this digital LED strip can be used in coving, doorways, windows, and staircases to add light and ambience. The digital pixel LEDs are suitable for indoor use so you can highlight exits or walkways or you can use these lights for displays and billboards.

To allow you to have an addressable LED strip, pick up the Arc Led Digital Pixel Rgb/Rgbw Controller + Receiver. This product is compatible with RGB or RGBW Digital Pixel LED tape. The controller offers 32 dynamic modes including horse race, chase, flow, trail, and gradual change so you can customise your light display. This LED pixel tape controller is a simple and affordable way to ensure your LED strip lighting will look the part in your space. If you love to switch up your home decor regularly or are looking for a way to create an array of eye-catching signs for your business then a controller will help you to instantly reprogramme your strip lighting. Attach the receiver to your LED strip lighting with the following compatible ICs to use the controller: TM1803, TM1804, TM1812, UCS1903, UCS1909, UCS1912, UCS2903. UCS2909, UCS2912, WS2811, WS2812, SK6812, TM1829, TLS3001, TLS3002, GW6205, MBI6120, LPD6803, LPD1101, D705, UCS6909, UCS6912, LPD8803, LPD8806, WS2801, WS2803, P9813.

Create complex light shows or keep to a simple white colour by choosing between the RGB or RGBW products. For additional options, the RGBW will give you a full range of colours as well as white but if you know you will be sticking to coloured lights then the RGB will provide you with the full spectrum or LED red, green and blue lights.

At ARC LED, we aim to offer a range of products to allow you to fully customise your space, including bespoke services. LED Pixel Strip Lighting comes in a range of sizes cut to your measurements. These high-quality LED strips have 60 LEDs per metre giving you plenty of lighting for your space. These evenly spaced lights give consistent lighting throughout your display or room. If you use the white settings, you can enjoy the look of daylight or for the colour options, enjoy a vibrant glow throughout your space.

Many businesses have switched to LEDs as an energy saving effort and homeowners are also seeing the benefits of using LED strip lighting in their rooms to create better energy efficiency. Not only do they help you reduce your costs, but they also create an unbeatable ambience that can be changed for the occasion if you install a type of addressable LED lighting such as digital pixel. Programme your lights to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for your dinner party, settle down for the night with a colourful yet soothing light display or add something fun to your entertainment space. The size of the LED strip lights combined with the controller is much smaller than other larger tech so you can enjoy a compact lighting system that completely transforms your space. Choose the colour and sequence setting to suit the event and enjoy switching the vibe of your space in an instant.

12v vs 24v LED strip lighting

It can be confusing to know whether to choose 12v or 24v LED strip lighting for your space. For short runs of LED strip lighting up to 5 metres, 12v is usually plenty to keep the light consistent from one end to the other but if you are looking to stretch your LED lighting further then 24v will keep your lights glowing evenly right to the end of the strip. The reason for this is that the further away the light is away from the power source the more of a voltage drop it will have experienced. The voltage gradually decreases along the circuit due to resistance from the copper conductors. Make sure you check that all your equipment is compatible with the voltage you have chosen to prevent you from overloading your system and burning out your lights. While in most households 12v is plenty and is the most common type of LED lighting, if you are filling a larger space or business you may prefer 24v.

Versatility is one of our favourite features of LED lighting from customising the colour, sequence, length, and size. This paired with the energy efficiency of LED strip lighting makes it a great solution for placing in so many areas of your commercial space or home. Light up any area for safety or get creative with signage as part of your marketing campaign. This flexible lighting can be successfully installed in many indoor spaces. If you need any help or advice to make your idea a reality then a member of the Arc LED team can help you to find the perfect LED product for the job.

If you want to ensure you have versatile functionality from your lighting then Digital Pixel LED lights allow you to experiment with your lighting by changing the colour and sequence. This can be changed instantly if you use a controller. With changeable light at your fingertips, there are so many combos you can try so your space will always feel fresh and new.
